Francine has over nine years of experience teaching creative writing and visual art workshops to youth and adults. She has experience with curriculum and program development, traditional writing workshops, high school level teaching, one on one mentoring and manuscript development.
In the past, she has focused on helping her writers connect their writing life with their personal identity and personal stories. Engaging youth in writing and their culture is a passion of Francine’s. She encourages students to write the types of stories they love to read, be it fantasy, science fiction, memoir, whatever they feel passionate about. She then gets them to think about and connect their personal narrative into these multi genre writing scapes.
Francine also has experience in teaching a traditional workshop, lessons on creative writing and manuscript evaluation for more experienced writers.
She also has experience in facilitating workshops in Museums and Art Galleries, either for day long events or as part of longer on going projects.
If you would like more information or to speak to Francine please email her at firstname.lastname@example.org. She is available for workshops, manuscript evaluations and teaching.
