What I read in October 2015

THIS WAS A YOUNG ADULT (YA) MONTH and it was so exciting it deserved caps. I love YA. All my long form writing has, so far, been YA. It seems my adulty stuff comes out in short fiction but my novels all seems to come out YA. Which I am just going with because YA is awesome. So this month I was feeling reading lethargic. So I decided to spice it up with pure adventure. These books are ones that make me stay up late into the night to finish. They only take me a day or so to read because  ONCE I START ONE I CANNOT STOP. This is also true when I read fantasy. A few of these are rereads and the rest are new.

Thirty Seven, Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. You know, sometimes you just need to read something you've read before and remember how awesome it is. Cannot wait for the last movie.

Thirty Eight, Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins.

Thirty Nine, Mocking Jay by Suzanne Collins.

Forty, Goblet of Fire by J.K Rowling. This is my fave Harry Potter book. This is before things turned super dark. I like the dark stuff but there is just something about how fun this book is that makes it the one I have re read many many times.

Forty One, Legend by Marie Lu. This book was great! I can see why its going to be made into a movie.

Forty Two, Maze Runner by. I have to admit that I actually saw the movie before I read the book. Actually both one and two. But the movies were so good that I just had to read the books because I knew they would add an extra layer of depth. I really enjoyed the book!
